Roaster's Pick: recommended by the roasting master
When the roasting master finds a very special coffee, he makes it his Roaster's Pick. And Mr. Werner has found it - just in time for Mother's Day.
For this special expedition, Mr. Werner made the long journey to Nicaragua. There, in faraway Central America, the renowned Mierisch family, now in the 3rd, 4th and 5th generation, runs their coffee farms with just as much dedication as Mr. Werner does his roasting business. The Mierisch family grows the Arabica Red Bourbon coffee cherries on the fertile soil of their Finca La Huella. Only the best are picked with great care and fermented at a low temperature. Mr. Werner is so taken with these treasures that he chose them and took them with him to the Tennengau to refine them with love and dedication in the drum roaster to create his Roaster's Pick.
He decided to bring out the rich sweetness and fruity pear notes with the extra slow omniroast process.
The first cup sparked a warm, golden feeling and Mr. Werner thought that this Roaster's Pick could be a perfect gift for Mother's Day. For those who want to say thank you to their mom for bedtime stories and sleepless nights, for all the love and care, for laughter and baking cakes and sandwiches, for small and big adventures, for discovering the world and for security.
To be fair – and he always does things fairly – Mr Werner has to admit that his Roaster's Pick is also enjoyed by fathers. Just like everyone who doesn't have children.
